The Micro connector was defined in the HDMI 1.4 specification and keeps the standard 19 pins of types A and C but the connector is a size similar to a micro-USB connector. This connector is called a type D and is 2.8 mm x 6.4 mm in size.
As the Micro connector was defined in HDMI v1.4 spec, it can carry 3D, Ethernet and ARC signals.
